The US now has more lions than Africa.
Full Story: California is the only state in the country that doesn't allow any hunting of Mountain Lions (AKA: Cougar, Puma, Panther). There are over 6000 Cougars in California.
As we develop more habitat, we come into more and more contact with Cougars. 90% of known Cougar attacks in California since 1890 have happened since 1993.
It's about time we allow a hunting season for this majestic animal.
